Abby Steiner Achieves Historic 200m Time 

At Joe May Invitational in Louisiana State University, Abby made history by achieving Kentucky track and field sprint. Abby ran the fastest 200m during the event, making her the second-fastest 200m athlete within the history of the school. She also ran her first 100m within the last three years.

Becoming the fifth fastest in collegiate history together with her 10.92 (+0.5) run. That’s Abby’s fifth personal record. We are sure that the athlete are able to tackle more challenges within the next few years.

Who Is Abby Steiner?

Abby Steiner was from Dublin, Ohio. She is graduated from Dublin Coffman Highschool. She is majoring in Human Health Sciences. Also she is one among the best-known track and field sprinters at the University of Kentucky. During her time at highschool, Abby became a 16-time state champion.

Also she holds the record for 60m, 200m (indoor and outdoor) and 100m runs. As a freshman (2018-2019), she won the 60m at the Jim Green Invitational. Now she earned fourth place at SECs within the 200m. Some of her other achievements for the 2021/2022 season include a silver within the 60m at NCAA Indoor Championships. Also achieving a 40-year-old collegiate record within the 300m with a 35.80 run at the Cardinal Classic.
